Aside the smaller table-top gauge, Heljan has helped redefine ready-to-run (RTR) 0 gauge modelling with the consistent introduction of many value-for-money diesel and electric traction locomotives appealing to a younger demographic.

This has been accompanied by carriages and coaches, and freight wagons resulting in a large number of British outline models, across many different railway eras and with a particular focus on modern image, now forming the biggest part of the company’s business operations.
